Description

Castle Clinton, located in Battery Park is an amazing example of adaptive reuse. Over the years the structures have served as a fortification for New York City, as an entertainment center, as an immigration center and as an Aquarium. The Park Rangers provide a variety of free programs covering the many lives of Castle Clinton, Harbor Defense and the War of 1812, Immigration, and the role of Castle Clinton in entertainment. Reservations are encouraged.
