The Queens Museum is a contemporary art museum located in Flushing Meadows Part. The most prominent piece in their collection is the Panorama of the City of New York. "This 9,335 square foot architectural model features 895,000 buildings in all five boroughs. Through guided museum experiences, gallery activities and studio workshops students engage in the panorama as a jumping off point to explore New York’s geography, landmarks, bridges, parks, communities, history, and city planning." Additional programs range from a in depth study of the city's watershed to the art featured in the museums contemporary art galleries.
